This website is owned and managed by Darren Gale, and part of The Excel Group. Excel Group is a sole trader company.

The following are the Terms and Conditions of orders placed with Excel Group

On ordering from Excel Group you confirm your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

All images on this site are reproduced with a view to portraying our products as accurately as possible. Please be aware that designs may vary slightly, from those shown, due to normal design and production fluctuations.


Accepted Methods of Payment

There is only one method of payment for goods ordered:-

1. Online Payment

For details of security, please see our security & privacy statements below. Payments can be made using any of the following methods online:-

  • Visa
  • Delta
  • Visa Electron
  • Solo
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Nochex
  • Cash (in-store collection)

Please note we do not accept orders using the postal service outside the UK, and all card payments using this web-site are taken via Nochex. Please note Excel Group web-site payments will show on your bank statement as “Nochex”.



Goods will be dispatched on receipt of cleared payment.

Delivery charges are quoted when placing an order. Our standard rates are:


  • UK - £7
  • All computers are collect from store only
  • Online Backup services are delivered by e-mail
  • Callout services are done at your address


All physical product orders are available to UK addresses/residents only. Online backup services and Remote Support sessions are available to all.

Standard UK delivery is arranged through Royal Mail Special Delivery or other courier. A signature will be required on receipt of goods. If a delivery is unsuccessful, then a card is left to arrange collection or redelivery. Delivery can be as fast as the next working day, but please allow 5 working days.

Online backup orders are delivered through e-mail. Once we have received a paid order for online backup, accounts usually 1 hour to setup however may take up to 24 hours to be complete. Once your online backup account is setup, you will be e-mailed with your login details. Remote support sessions are in blocks of 30 minutes and you will be called by our technician.


Orders placed online can be placed on our order form. 

Payments placed online will be placed on Paypal Services Secure Server. On this form, all credit / debit card details are transmitted using SSL, the universally recognized security system for transmitting encrypted information over the Internet. Submitted details are processed directly by Nochex Services. The Excel Group never actually see your credit / debit card details.

Please note that Internet host IP addresses are recorded for security reasons when placing an order online.


You can cancel an order by e-mail before your item has been arranged for collection by Royal Mail or other courier. Once the order has been arranaged for collection by Royal Mail or other courier, the order may not be cancelled. Online Backup once setup cannot be cancelled.  Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Remote sessions are in blocks of 30 minutes and cannot be cancelled once the technician has connected into your machine.


The Excel Group will not tolerate any attempts to obtain goods by fraudulent means. Any fraudulent action will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Please note that Internet host IP addresses are recorded when placing an order online.


Online Cloud Backup

Excel Group offers the Cloud Online Backup Service (‘Services’) to its clients through its affiliation with Livedrive.The Terms and Conditions apply to both Livedrive and Excel Group as its affiliate.

You may use the Services only if you have the power to form a contract with Excel Group, and thereby with Livedrive, and are not barred under any applicable laws from doing so. The Services may continue to change over time as features are refined and more features added. The Services may stop, modified or suspended at any time without prior notice to you.

You retain full ownership to your files, folders and data, submitted through Excel Group to Livedrive. We don’t claim any ownership of any of it. These Terms do not grant us any rights to your files or intellectual property except for the limited rights that are needed to run the Services.

Your permission will be needed to do things you ask us to do with your files, for example, hosting your files, or sharing them at your discretion. That permission also extends to trusted third parties we work with to provide the Services.

You are solely responsible for your conduct, the content accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, or legality of files, user posts, or any other infromation, but you acknowledge that Livedrive and Excel Group have no obligation to monitor any information on the Services. Please do not copy, upload, download, or share files unless you have the right to do so.

Please consider carefully what you choose to share or make public. Livedrive and Excel Group have no responsibility for that activity.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Services and you agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

You, and not Livedrive or Excel Group, are responsible for maintaining and protecting all of your files. Neither Livedrive nor Excel Group will not be liable for any loss or corruption of your files, or for any costs or expenses associated with backing up or restoring any of your files.

You can stop using our Services after the expiration or your 12 month contract with us. We reserve the right to suspend or end the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. For example, we may suspend or terminate your use if you are not complying with these Terms, or use the Services in any way that would cause us legal liability or disrupt others’ use of the Services. All fees for our services are due in advance and your contract will automatically renew on its anniversary. Once Excel Group has received your first payment you are legally bound into a 12 month contract. If you wish to cancel your contract with Excel Group and Livedrive, you must do so in writing before the renewal of your contract, if you wish to cancel before your renewal you must pay any outstanding monies due.

Excel Group are an official AVG Reseller, Microsoft Registered Partner, Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, TP-Link Partner Livedrive Affiliate and Jettec Authorised Reseller.

All services brought into Excel Group will be charged a £30 diagnosis fee whether repaired or not. If you agree to our estimated quote, the diagnosis fee will be waived. It is at the managers descretion of whether diagnosis fee is charged or not.

Any missing items/discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours.

30 day RTB (Return to Base) warranty if warranty seals intact on 2nd user items, 1 year RTB warranty if warranty seals intact on new items.

All goods remain the property of Excel Group until payment in full.

As part of the repair process, it may sometimes be necessary to re-format the computer’s internal or external hard disc drive(s) and/or to re-install the Microsoft Windows® operating system (or similar). Both these procedures are carried out only as a last resort and after Excel Group has attempted all other means of repair. All data, regarded by the customer as either required, important and/or critical, should be backed up (saved to another hard disc drive or to removable media, for example, a CD-R or DVD-R disc) prior to any such re-installation of software such as Microsoft Windows®, or the re-formatting of your computer’s internal or external hard disc drive(s). Re-formatting of the hard disc drive(s) means that all data will have been erased. The computer will have been returned to “Factory Settings” after re-installing Microsoft Windows® in other words, to the state it was in when it left the manufacturing facility. The backed up data can then be re-installed on the computer. Excel Group accepts no responsibility for loss of computer data, however caused, including any alleged loss occurring during data recovery.. It is the responsibilty of the customer to perform their own backups.

Any item that is not manufacturered by Excel Group, may require the customer to contact the manufacturer of their purchased product directly for support or warranty claims.

Software & data files on 2nd user systems are the responsibility of the purchaser.
